Thank you for visiting this section of my website. My name is Alexis and I currently work out of the home I share with my boyfriend and our beloved pets. I am currently working toward my master's in history at Indiana State University where I also work part-time as an assistant editor for an academic journal. I have many personal hobbies including; reading any type of fantasy novels, traditional archery, golf, video games and of course- making candles.

I started making candles this year thanks to coming home to a lovely surprise-my starter candle making kit. From there, I wanted to make something of the hobby and that brought me to what you, dear reader, are viewing today. My research of candle making exposed me to the concerns of burning paraffin wax in your home so, I decided I wanted to create the most natural and best smelling candles I could. Many brand name candle companies utilize materials that are full of toxic chemicals that truly should not be burned in an enclosed space. While they smell lovely, I felt I determined to change what I release into my home since all of the things I love most share this space with me. I hope you enjoy your candles as much as I do.
